Aardman To Celebrate 40 Years With Steiff Gromit

Steiff Gromit – Limited Edition UK-based studio, Aardman Animations, and Germany’s venerable Steiff Teddy Bears have announced the signing of a new licensing agreement to mark the animator’s 40th anniversary in 2016. Under the terms of the new deal, Steiff will produce a limited edition, collectable plush Gromit of Wallace and Gromit fame, to go on sale next year online and in specialist retailers. Steiff Bear At Kansas City Museum After a year of renovation and redesign, the Kansas City based National Toy and Miniature Museum at 5235 Oak reopened Saturday. Steiff Collector – Jena Pang and His Bears A Steiff collector has sold his collection of antique teddy bears for more than £95,000 at auction. A total of 95 bears, including 32 made by Steiff, were sold by Special Auction Services in Newbury for Steiff collector Jena Pang. Mr Pang has been a collector for 12 years but sold them ahead of a move to Hong Kong. The bears sold for £95,827, with one of them fetching £8,260. Seven lots …
